this is gracie. she was found by a vacationing woman in Tennessee and she brought her back to Illinois. she lived with an older woman for a few months, but wasn’t taken care of well due to the woman’s age. grace ended up staying at an animal clinic and sat behind the front desk, greeting visitors. not long after one of our dogs passed away, my family was asked to adopt her.
we’ve had her for about three years now. she’s a skeptical dog, but very cuddly and loving. our younger dog, piper, has made gracie a less shy and much more playful dog. i’m infinitely grateful for my dogs.
