Submitting more of Charles Barkley! I wanted to give a little of his back story this time.
My family adopted Charlie in April 2013 from an awesome rescue in North Texas called Operation Kindness. We believe he was dumped and abandoned because he knew basic commands and was bathroom trained from the moment we got him. So because of the abandonment, he had been living on the streets of Dallas for awhile and was picked up weighing not even 60 lbs and showing his ribs and hip bones. He also had heartworm. In the before and after pic, the top pic was the day we got him at about 60 lbs and the bottom pic was 8 months later in December and he weighed around 85 lbs and was happy and healthy! Now, he’s topped out around 95 lbs, is heartworm free, and is the absolute best dog. Whoever threw my dog away gave me the best friend I’ve ever had.
