So, I have two dogs and I have been feeding them both Beneful for their entire lives. I know that Beneful isn’t good for the dogs, but it’s what I can afford, I also give them plenty of meat and other dog-healthy foods on the side though. I recently went to the vet and they said that both of my dogs were healthy. So, my question is that even though my vet says that both of my dogs are healthy should I still try and change their food?

Knowing that you’re feeding your dogs one of The Worst foods, that has reportedly killed multiple dogs, isn’t taking proper care of them. By no means does anyone have to feed their dog the best of the best and blow all their money on food, but i think your standards should be a little higher than the lowest quality grocery brands. Here are some cheap dog foods that are okay quality:

  • Nature’s Recipe
  • Iams
  • Beyond Simply 9
  • Eukanuba
  • Halo Spot’s Stew
  • Nutro Max
