Pride Pup Contest

Who says just because Pride month is over that our dashing dogs can’t show the love? Pups and Pride is having its first contest on Pride pups!

What is the contest? How do you enter?

It’s a contest for Proud pups showing off their support. Dogs and pups dressed up in any LGBTQ+ colors can enter the contest!

All you only have to do two things to have your dog be apart of the contest.

1. Submit a photo of your pride pup!

2. Reblog this post to spread the word!

That’s it! You don’t have to follow me (although it would make it easier to keep up with the contest).

What do I win if I join the contest?

There’s 3 places.

3rd place wins a choice of two Pride pup pens by @catmintstudios (picture belongs to them)

2nd place wins three choices of Pride pup pens

1st place wins three choices of Pride pup pens, plus the Roma’s Rainbow Collection by @aquestionablemutt (pictures belong to them)

How do we win? How does the voting work?

Simple! You submit your wonderful pup, and it’s up to everyone else on who wins! The dogs with the most likes will win the prizes. Don’t let that discourage you from liking other pups though!

That’s why encouraging your followers to reblog is important. The more people who see your dog in the contest, the more likely they’re to win. And I’m sure everyone would love to take a peak at all the other pups too, giving them a boost as well.

How long is the contest?

That depends! I wants it to last two weeks – first week for submitting and another week so late submitters have a chance. However, if I stop receiving pups then I’ll cut the time shorter. As of right now, the contest submissions will last from today, July 3rd, to July 10th. Then submissions will be closed, and the contest will continue until July 17th for voting.

Is there anything else we should know?

Actually, yes! During the contest I’ll be taking donations.

50% will go to Best Friends Animal Society. Their goal is to end the killing of homeless pets in shelters. This not only include dogs, but also cats, horses, birds, and more.

The other 50% will go to Pride Fundation. They’ve been around since 1985 trying to make it safer for the LGBT community.

I will not profit from any of the donations.

Thats all! I really hope everyone enjoys the contest – whether it’s by getting to see wonderful pups or from actually being apart of the contest!
