I need your help!!

So anyone that knows my dog, Lilo, knows that her stuffed rabbit, Thumper, is her everything. She takes him out to go potty with her, to sunbathe with her, to eat with her, and to sleep with her. He is never too far from her.

Recently our puppy, Annabelle, got a hold of him, though. She tore one of his eyes out and ripped some of his stuffing out, leaving the pieces on the floor for us to find. Lilo hasn’t been the same since. The day of, she brought him to us crying. She wouldn’t let me take him from her and she had tears running down her cheeks.

I tried to see a button on as his eye and replace some stuffing in his head, but it just wasn’t enough for Lilo. She tore the button out then, in front of everyone during a movie, she tore out his other eye and left the room without him.

If anyone knows where I can get a replacement Thumper/what brand he is or ANYTHING about him, I would be so happy. Message me @racingbarakarts if you know what to do. Please I am a dog mom with a sad dog and I don’t know what to do

Okay so I found a couple of rabbits that look similar. Here and here. A couple of notes though. If the rabbit was Lilo’s comfort item, even if you find the exact same one, it won’t smell or feel the same so don’t be surprised if she doesn’t love it as much.

Another thing, if there were tears running down her cheeks, you NEED to take Lilo to the vet. Dogs cannot cry from emotion. This is not to say that dogs don’t feel emotion, because of course they do. But dogs’ tear ducts do not work that way and dogs thus cannot cry from emotion, so if there were tears running down her cheeks, please go to a vet ASAP.

Good luck finding a new rabbit! I hope it cheers Lilo up.
