Unfortunately, I believe double merles are purposely bred for and there are owners who desire them. However, I know a great deal of them are rescues as well, and not directly supporting the breeding. But, there’s always going to be backyard breeders who provide genetic disasters to uneducated supporters.
hello! this is more directed at your followers/the people who submit than you but i hope you don’t mind… anyway i’m a bit worried about the number of deaf and/or blind aussies i see on this blog, is it not a known fact that two merles should never mate ? is it possible that a lot of aussie breeders overlook this ?
