My soon 10 y/o girl Kora enjoying the bit of snow we get over here back in January. She’s about knee-height, so ~ 60 cm, and weighs 27 kg.
She is a very athletic dog, still doing daily bike tours of about 5km at her age, has been very good and bouncy at “just for fun” agility back in the day, jumped over our high garden fence multiple times from a standstill until we turned our house into Alcatraz and is incredibly fast when chasing something. She has a strong hunt drive and is not an easy dog with strangers.
She protects her home and doesn’t let herself be touched by people she doesn’t know. She can’t stand most female dogs and started fights when younger, by now she’s more laid back.
At home, she’s asleep most of the time and doesn’t make a fuss. She’s very sweet but does not need constant presence, instead being content alone in a back room and will leave after about 10 min of intense cuddling. She knows lots of tricks and loves to show them off for a treat!
My dog is a real survivor and always finds questionable edible material outside if you don’t watch her.
