Hi, I don’t know if you or your followers might be able to point me in the right direction? My lab/border collie mix has been itching a lot lately. She has dry skin, since I’ve gotten her she’s had dandruff. My neighbor recommended vitamins. I’ve treated for fleas,etc. She’s itching so bad she’s irritated her skin on her back legs and it’s very red, maybe bleeding. It’s so bad suddenly and I don’t know how to help her. I feel like the worst dog owner! Any help at all would be just so great!

It sounds like you need to try a different kind of food! Either higher quality, or different ingredients. Your vet should definitely be in the loop to make sure there isn’t any underlying illness.

Hi, I have two (brothers) short tailed pointer breed dogs (small-med size with full white coats and brown/Choco/caramel coloring/spots). One, the runt, seems to have bowl issues, or at least a smaller everything, bladder, stomach, etc., since his brother is about twice as big as him. What do you recommend for when the lil one needs to go out to pee at night? They both bark if they need out, but the lil one not as loudly as his bigger bro, so in the morning we sometimes have messes to clean up?

Withholding food and water close to bed time may help, or crating in your bedroom so you can hear if they need to potty. Go for a walk before bed to make sure they have ample opportunity to potty, as…

Tbh, I have a tough time recognizing pure bred pit bulls because there are so many mixes out there. Karma looks too wrinkly and jowly to be a pit bull, but I think @pulldogs can provide better input?

He twirls, runs around the house, wiggles his bum, barks and runs to his toy box to give me a toy to throw. My only concern is, is it okay to play with him after he eats.
