- Actually! I’ve done a lot of research on this and with a diagnosis the previous Anon may qualify for a psychiatric service dog! Depression and anxiety can be helped with tasks such as deep pressure therapy for anxiety attacks or bad breakdowns, they can be trained to bring you your medication and interrupt destructive behaviors/self harming. But they will still need a strong support system if they are not capable of giving the dog the necessary care for health or financial reasons.
