- I’m considering adopting a husky mutt (calling the shelter tomorrow), I think I’m qualified but I’d appreciate some outside opinions. I’ve had dogs all my life and I have a passion for animal behavior/+r training. I lead an active lifestyle (daily morning + evening jog w/ hikes and town adventures 1-2x week). she would still be home alone for 6-8 hours per day but I have funds to hire a dog walker if she were to become bored (no yard). would this be fair to the dog? (adult/house + crate trained)
