- Hi, I have an 8 yr old Australian shepherd. I’ve had him 8 years. He refuses to eat plain dry dog food. He will not eat wet food. In order for him to eat I need to mix in shredded cheese with dry dog food. If I were to give him plain dog food he would starve himself because he’d refuse to eat it. I’ve tried sauces and toppings from pet stores to mix in but he does not like them. Do you or any of your followers have advice on how to get my dog to eat plain dry dog food? Many thanks.
