Sometimes a UTI can be the cause. I would take her to the vet and have her urine checked before looking at behavioral issues.
Hey just wondering if you have some insight on this situation: My boyfriends dachshund used to be very well potty trained and he could let her roam his place freely. Then suddenly she started going pee everywhere as if she had never been potty trained and he has to keep her confined to the bathroom usually because that’s where her bed and stuff is and she won’t go potty there. Do you know why she’d suddenly forget her potty training?

- My dog is a terrible walker. As soon as we get out of sight of the house, he refuses to go any farther. He wasn’t always like this (he’s almost 10 now!) but it’s gotten worse with age and he’s overweight and needs his exercise. I’ve tried driving him to a neighborhood he’s not familiar with (he won’t leave sight of the car) and having a friend drop us off a few blocks away (he won’t leave the spot where we were dropped off). Any tips? PS. He hates parks.
