Guess the breed(s)!
This is Jax! He’s a 2 ½ year old rescue that is 15 in. paw to shoulder and 22 in. nose to rump (tail not included). He weighed 19 lbs at his last vet appointment, but should be around 15. His coat is soft without much bathing or upkeep, and is a variety of lengths that rarely lay flat along his shoulders or base of tail. On occasion, his ears will stand straight up.
Jax is very lazy and sleeps a lot. When he does want to play, it’s in quick 5 minute spurts. He loves meeting other dogs, but is weary of strange people. When he plays with other dogs, he’s more likely to play chase than wrestle.
He is smart and picks up commands/tricks very quickly (about 5 repetitions) but struggles to walk well on a leash. His nose is always on the ground or pointing at birds. He is also a really good jumper, able to hop straight up 3 feet and land on a small platform. Jax is quiet and rarely barks, but he must be crated when left alone, and whines when I return and don’t let him out asap. He also loves belly rubs more than anything in life.
