- Hi So my mom works all day. She doesn’t particularly like our dog. Whenever she is home she tries to give him commands, but he never listens. For example when he is walking around in the evening and she tells him to sit he ignores her? Any ideas on why he might ignore her? She gets really mad because she says she is the head of the house and should be able to tell that she is the head of the house. So another question, can dogs really tell who is the head of the house?
