HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Have a safe, fun, and wicked Halloween this weekend – from my hellhound to yours. 🙂
I promised there would be better photos, now let’ see if this gets as many Notes as the bad cellphone pics (I’m not crossing my fingers but it’d be nice)!

I think most of you are familiar with Noodle, @huskyhuddle’s surprise addition to the family. For those of you who aren’t, Noodle was found by Stephanie, abandoned, and when the previous owners didn’t come forward, Stephanie adopted Noodle into their family.
Whoever had owned Noodle previously, did not care for her. She had not been given heartworm prevention, and as a result, Steph had to pour a lot of money into Noodle’s treatment. Because of Noodle’s ongoing health problems, she has been unable to enroll her in an insurance program, which means that whatever comes up, she has to pay for out of pocket.
Now, just after finally recovering from a long and expensive heartworm treatment, Noodle has gone in for emergency surgery because she has pyometra. It was caught in time, thankfully, but the surgery and treatment was incredibly expensive, and simply not something she can afford.
I think for all of us dog owners, it is our absolute worst nightmare. And I don’t know many people who would do half as much for a dog they found abandoned one night.
I have felt very helpless, watching this from the sidelines, knowing how I would feel if it happened to one of my dogs, and I came up with an idea, and after running it by Stephanie first, I’m posting it on here.
I recently made hair bows just for fun, which I then subjected my poor Daenerys to. She was a pretty good sport about it, even if the hair bows are technically designed for humans to wear.
I’ve decided to sell these hair bows, for $5.00 each, to give to Noodle for her surgery. I would still need to cover shipping costs at $2.50, so the total would be $7.50 per bow.
If anyone wants to help Noodle out, please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can send you a PayPal invoice for your bow. If anyone is concerned about the legitimacy, which I can fully understand, receipts and screenshots for the costs, and the amounts coming in and going out can be provided. I do not feel comfortable posting them here at this time, as I am simply doing this because I care about Steph and Noodle and it’s not my paperwork to post online.
Noodle showed up one day at @huskyhuddle‘s door with no owner to be found. She took her in, only to find out she had heartworms! After a long, expensive course of treatment, Noodle was finally all better and ready to be apart of a great family. But now, she has had yet another bout of bad luck, and needed emergency surgery to remove her uterus. Any amount will help, and you get an adorable bow in return!

Coco (left) “It wasn’t Tempurpedic. So I ate it.” Ryder (right) “I watched”. I left for a few hours and came home to a mess on the floor. Coco had pulled all of the foam out of the bottom of the dog bed and left it all over the floor.
Pete the pug spent the afternoon destroying an outdoor patio pillow. Naughty pug!

My name is Ralph and I like Tagalong Girl Scout cookies. Mom is happy the box was empty. I was not. Thank goodness there were no cookies left and he didn’t get an upset stomach!
I want to murder every dog in my neighborhood… Even the ones bigger than my Daddy.
My name is Millie and sometimes I get too friendly with not alive things. Like Mummy’s coat.
Tuna the Shepkita
This is a dog from an absolutely amazing animal sanctuary that I just came back from. Every dogs kennel was decorated with furniture and paintings and the dogs stories were up outside of the kennels. The dogs come from all walks of life and some of them have some truly amazing stories. This was by far the most beautiful place I’d ever been to in my life.
Please check out my blog, meet-the-pack.tumblr.com for more pictures of the amazing dogs that are in my life

hi! this is my 7 weeks old border collie puppy Mavie!
That pesky privacy screen on the gate kept me from seeing my friends.
The tale on the sign is absolutely true. Loki likes to ride in the car, so I took him along on the trip to the pharmacy, figuring that we could go for a walk in that neighborhood after I picked up a prescription and some odds and ends. I guess I should have let Loki know the full plan before stepping into the store for 5 minutes.

George, my almost 9 year old Chihuahua, took a special liking to this new frog toy. He liked it so much that he tore two legs off the toy, left a third hanging by a thread, and nearly chewed off the head too. He started to pull the stuffing out but mommy put an end to the fun 🙁

We rescued Daisy from our local humane society. She is a one year old German Shepherd Cross.
During a very important meeting for the production of a popular television show, Wade Boggs (pictured) sauntered into the room, under the packed table, and laid one of the largest / most pungent gastrointestinal explosions to date. Quickly removed from the room, it was only right to publicly shame this pooch for his loose caboose.

Every day I come home from work, Juno our 8 month old lab waits for me to take of my sock then she spends the next hour smelling, licking and chewing on my stinky socks. If she is really excited she roll around on them. But to date she has yet to chew a hole in one.
