I see a lot of pictures of dogs with sticks being submitted and I just want to give some advice: don’t throw sticks for your dog. buy a toy, whether it’s a ball or some rope or anything else. a stick can get stuck in the ground if thrown (esp. if the ground is soft like snow or mud) and if your dog tries to get it, the stick could tear its throat open. it happened to my dog, and 5 surgeries and a shit ton of money later he’s fine, but the bit of stick fun wasn’t worth it and he almost died.
